I set up the camcorder on 3 second intervals to get a jerky overview of the entire process just for the fun.
I shot the photos with a Sony Alpha 700 using the kit lens.
I used two onions, four cloves of garlic, the whole can of tomato paste, extra cumin and chili powder, 6 squirts of Tabasco, and I substituted shredded 5 cheese blend for the sour cream garnish.
After chopping the onion and garlic, I set all the ingredients out on the counter.
I sauteed the onions and garlic and added the tomato paste, seasonings, and turkey

Once upon a time in a rundown section of suburbia, a shabby convenience store and a sleazy late night bar faced each other across a poorly lit stretch of four lane highway. The few businesses on each side had long ago closed and fallen into disrepair.

New Year's Eve 2009
2009 is a year I am glad ended. It was one of the worst years of my life.
I began New Years Eve like I do most mornings, sitting in my favorite chair with a cup of coffee checking my email and blogs.
After I did a load of laundry,
it was time to shave, take a shower, and get ready to go out in the world.
I went by work for a while. It is always peaceful there when the place is closed. I read some email and printed out some forms.
My next stop was the grocery store. It was especially crowed that day. I dont have a clue why.

Tying up loose ends - update
Thank all of you for your kind words and support during these past few months. Life is emotionally difficult for me but I'm am healing.
UPDATE
I should say that I feel some better now and that is the only reason I can post this. It was too painful before. The rough draft of this was written each evening as the events occurred. I am still grieving, but I am healing too.
END UPDATE
I thought I'd try and share part of the story with all of you. The photos aren't that great (almost all are cell phone photos) and I didn't size all of them correctly.
