Did you try shooting it when the light was best in the day? Are you using tripod?

Are you doing exposure bracketing?

Its inside a conservatory and I can only get to it between 9am and 5pm. :lol: I've tried both sunny and cloudy days. I've done manual exposure bracketing. :laughing: Sometimes I take up to 20 different settings. I haven't tried a tripod though. That is a good idea. Thanks!

Here is another thought I had. Do the tripod but also bring along a reasonable sized mirror. Go when there is some good sunlight hitting that area. Put the camera on the tripod, Set up the composition.. and shoot by not touching the camera.

When you get it set, take the mirror and play with it and that will allow you to put light from right left etc
